What’s Cookin’ – Menu Plan for Feb. 17-23

My Recipes is one of my favorite places to find new dinner ideas. This website compiles tried and true recipes from magazines like Cooking Light, Southern Living, Food & Wine and Real Simple. Rarely have I made anything from here that we don’t like, especially when I stick to the ones with 4 or 5 star ratings. All of the meals on this week’s menu received outstanding reviews on My Recipes, so they are sure to be winners, right?

    Jake and I made the Turkey Italian Sausage Soup for dinner last night. It was extra yummy and super quick to prepare! Definitely adding it to my ‘go-to recipes’ for week night dinners. I used Whole Food’s chicken Italian sausage. Also, I doubled the recipe so we would have left-overs. Next time, I will cook the pasta separately and add the spinach to the bowls so that everything doesn’t get too mushy when reheated for the 2nd serving. We loved it!
