I have looked into this. I felt it would be a great re-use of resources that would be environmentally friendly and cost effective. After looking into it a bit- here are some concerns to keep in mind:
- Flammability (both of the wood and the chemicals used to treat the wood)
- Chemical treatment (fumigation with Methyl Bromide and formaldehyde)
- Bacteria & Contagions ( Listeria, E. coli and salmonella as well as residual oils and liquids from improper storage)
- Insect infestation
Please do some research on this before committing to what we all feel is an interesting idea.

A pastor and his wife, who is a friend, are looking for a lectern for their mission church. We were wondering if someone could help us come up with plans or an idea on how to make one using pallets? Thanks!
