I would try connecting the cans together with Liquid Nails Metal Adhesive (or any other epoxy the adheres to metal), then attaching them to the wall in two or three places with screws and anchors. Good luck! Please send me a pic when you finish and let me know how it worked out!

@christi @ burlap and basil: Hi, Christi! Thanks for the comment; I'm so glad you found my blog! I agree....there are so many creative organizing alternatives out there. I'm a big fan of mason jars too because they have a wide mouth so they'll fit larger items. Plus, they are clear so you don't forget what's inside.

i am so much calmer when my home is organized. i recently went through my kitchen and front closet and have the other closets earmarked for later this month. i use mason jars for everything in the kitchen. they are inexpensive, versatile and sturdy. i feel like you can spend a fortune on keeping yourself organized but a little creativity (like putting the sheets in a pillow case, masking tape labels, shipping tag labels, etc) you can still be organized, have it look great and keep some money in your pocket! =) so fun to have stumbled on your blog.
